Priorities

As Christmas is just a few weeks away, those of us who live/work away from home will hopefully be traveling back for the holidays.  For those of you who are unable to, I wish you the best and I know that you have friends and family that are thinking of you as much as you are thinking about them. Due to the holiday season, I've decided to take a little break from posting on the blog until the new year.   In order to conclude, I'd like to summarize what we've talked about thus far.   Since the beginning, I've talked a lot about how important family is to me, and I think it only fair then I end the year talking about the same. When I was about 4 years old, my family moved down to the southern part of the United States. The rest of my father's family lived up North about a 16-hour drive. Every year, we made that trip back to our old home to spend 2 to 3 days with the remainder of his family every summer. Almost every Christmas, we would do the same.   when I
